Why is examining your motives important?  The desire to be liked and the desire to please is in everyone; how can that desire be sanctified (set a part for God)?  Sharing things you're excited about is not always bad...but how can you know when it crosses the line?

Are we seeking anything artificial?  You know, we have legitimate needs but we seek out solutions that leave us wanting?  Or what about interpretation...do we try to use tools that inappropriate for the job of identifying truth?  Or do you ever get duped into believing something, but hey, wait a second, that's not possible?!!?
