Misusing iPad

Have you ever given some advice and someone completely misunderstood it or taken it the wrong way?  Have you ever misinterpreted Scripture (like "where 2 or 3 are gathered...)?  Have you ever shared anything of high value to you, only for someone else to treat it like a kitchen utensil?

Do people ever interpret God's communication to us in a radically different way than how He intended?  Do we ever twist the meaning of something or change the intent of the original authors (like even the Constitution)?  Do some folks ever get enraged or fixated on a problem that's not really a problem (turns out they are the issue)?
